La Garde Impériale d'Austerlitz was formed in 1995. Its members exhibit the accoutrements and armaments and conduct of the Imperial Guard Grenadiers of the Great Army of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte I, from 1800 - 1805.

Members of La Garde Impériale d'Austerlitz participate in the re-enactment of battles during the Napoleonic Wars, and pay homage at home and abroad, for example at Austerlitz, Chlumec, Marengo, Tolentino, Leipzig, Waterloo, Ajaccio, etc. Last but not least, members of La Garde Impériale d'Austerlitz visit memorial sites from the Napoleonic Wars, and within their financial means they contribute toward the restoration and maintenance of these memorials for future generations. Members of La Garde Impériale d'Austerlitz demonstrate, in battle re-enactments, the tactical elements of the combat of the Old Guard of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte I, and during duels they demonstrate the fighting and fencing skills of the soldiers of the Great Army.

La Garde Impériale d'Austerlitz has permanent headquarters in Slavkov u Brna.
