By the crossroads on the north edge of Milešovice (Milešovice is located approximately 10 km southwest of Slavkov and 22 km southeast of Brno), one can see a linden tree that is protected by the Ancient Monument Department. There is a wooden cross under the linden tree, decorated with engravings and inscriptions that illustrate trades. This cross was erected during the construction of the roads from Nízkovice to Otnice, on the place where all the remains of soldiers who fought in the 1805 historical "Battle of the Three Emperors" at Slavkov have been laid to rest
